How to generate API Keys (Desktop)
Guide to generate and link new API
Please follow the steps below to generate and link new API keys
Note: This applies to Subaccounts (Real) as well.
WARNING: updating your API keys or toggling the “shorting functionality” to the OFF/ON position will close all trades and liquidate all bitcoin holdings at market. This might affect the account performance on the short term. AYMBot® will resume normal function as soon as the updated API keys are entered. Only do this when absolutely necessary.
1. Log in to the Binance account associated with AYMBot®
2. Hover over the “derivatives” option
a) Click on “Binance future overview”
b) Click on “open account”
c) Finally click on “open now”
You’re Bianace future account is now activated
3. Hover over the “account management” icon on the top right corner
a. Click on “API management”
4. Click on “Create API”
5. Select the “System generated API key” option and click “Next”
6. Name the API label (any memorable name you choose will do) and Click “Next”
7. Once the API keys are generated please copy both API Key and API Secret and paste each into the required field on the Account Management section of your AYMBot® account on www.aymbot.com.
8. Click on “Copy” located underneath AYMBot® IPs
9. Edit your newly generated API
a. Click on “edit”
b. Check the following permissions:
- Enable reading
- Enable spot and margin trading
- Enable futures
- Permits universal transfer
10. Click on “restrict access to trusted IPs only, and paste the copied IP address to the necessary field and tap on confirm.

11. Finally click on save and enter the verification codes!
